Phoenix Suns vs Los Angeles Clippers Betting Odds, Lines Picks & Predictions Game 6

The Suns will have another chance to secure the trip to the Finals after failing to do so on Monday. Now they travel to LA to take on the Clippers in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals. The Suns have only 2 road losses in playoffs so far and will look to avoid coming back to Phoenix for Game 7. Over the full campaign, they’re 62-25 SU and 52-33-2 ATS. The Clippers have saved their season for now with a stellar performance in Game 5 and will try to build on that on Wednesday, Still without Kahwi Leonard, they dominated the last matchup winning 116-102. They opened the postseason with 3 straight home losses but have won 5 out of the last 6 games o their own court. Their season record now stands at 57-33. Against the spread, the Clips are 50-38-2. So far, the two teams have split their matchups this season right down the middle. Each team has won 4 times.

Line Movement

The lines for this game saw a lot of movement since the release. The Clippers were initially favored by -1, but the spread moved to evens or even to +1 in the past two days. Eventually, the line came back to -1 where it stands at the moment with most bookies. The total has been more stable, holding firm at 215.

Notes on Phoenix Suns

The Suns lacked their usual aggressiveness in Game 5, especially in the opening quarter. Phoenix fell behind 5-20 early and faced an uphill battle all game long. They allowed the Clippers to attack with ease and, uncharacteristically for them, took poor care of the ball. This led to 14 turnovers which resulted in 23 points for their opponents. The Suns weren’t much better on the other end of the court, too. Besides Booker and Paul, no one else really got going. Devin Booker finished the game with 31 points, shooting 4-6 from the deep. Paul added 22 and 8 assists. Deandre Ayton who was the key for the Suns in the first 4 games, had his worst performance of the series. He did record a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds, but finished with a team-worst +/- rating of -22.

For Wednesday’s game, the Suns have a clean bill of health.

Notes on Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers have been two games down multiple times in this postseason, and it seems to get the best out of them. Without Kahwi, no one gave them much chance of surviving, but they’ve shown resilience and determination to force Game 6 in front of their own fans. On Sunday, they were patient, created good looks, and didn’t settle on just jump shots. Plus, they were near perfect from the FT line, missing only one. Paul George led the way once again with an incredibly efficient performance. He scored 41 points on only 20 shots and added 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Reggie Jackson and Marcus Morris followed with 23 and 22 points, respectively. Bot of them shot over 50% from the field. In the absence of Ivica Zubac, Cousins provided a valuable contribution from the bench, scoring 15 points in just 11 minutes.

Kahwi is out again, while Zubac is a game time decision.

NHL Stanley Cup Finals Game 2 Montreal Canadiens vs Tampa Bay Lightning

Betting Pick: UNDER 215

Both LA games in this series were ugly, low-scoring affairs. With the season on the line for the Clippers, we can expect another gritty and scrappy matchup. Both teams will try to control the tempo and slow things down. The points average so far in the series is 204.2.
