Game 6 Brooklyn Nets vs Milwaukee Bucks Betting Odds, Lines Picks & Predictions

The Bucks are on the brink of elimination as they host the Nets on Thursday night. They’re now down 3-2 in Round 2 of the NBA playoffs. Milwaukee could have easily been ahead in the series if they haven’t squandered a 17-point lead on Tuesday. They’ll look to take advantage of the home court and push the series to 7 games. The Bucks are yet to lose in front of their own fans in this postseason. Overall this season, they’re now 52-29 SU and 36-45 ATS. The Nets had their backs against the wall in Game 5, but thanks to a historic performance from Kevin Durant, they’re still taking the 3-2 lead to Milwaukee. Apart from the road games in this series, they looked great lately. Tuesday’s win was their 12th in the last 15 games. Their overall record now stands at 55-27. Against the spread, the Nets are 46-36. Tonight, the two teams will meet for the 9th time this season. They’ve split their matchups so far, with each team winning 4 times.

Line Movement

The Bucks opened as -3.5 favorites, but the line has seen some serious movement since the release. After most of the action went Milwaukee’s way, the line rose to -5.5 or even -6 at some bookies. The total is set at 220 or 220.5 depending on a bookie.

Notes On Brooklyn Nets

The Nets have survived Game 5 but have little to feel happy about. That is, apart from the incredible performance by Kevin Durant. KD scored 49 points and added 17 rebounds and 10 assists. He became the first player in NBA history with those numbers in a playoff contest. James Harden was heroic playing 45 minutes while clearly still injured. Still, he wasn’t able to contribute much, scoring only 5 points. Joe Harris has been invisible for the third game straight, as have Bruce Brown and Mike James. A positive for Brooklyn is a great performance off the bench for Jeff Green. The veteran scored 27 and kept Brooklyn in the game during the first half. The Nets surely can’t rely on Kevin Durant producing another record-breaking performance on Thursday and will need someone else to step up and join him.

Harden, while clearly not at 100% will play again tonight. Kyrie Irving remains out.

Notes on Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks had their playoff fate in their hands, but after a second-half collapse finds themselves playing to stay in the series. Giannis produced once again with 32 points and 12 rebounds but committed a crucial turnover near the end of the game. Middleton scored 25, Holiday 19, and Brook Lopez added 15 points. While all their key players had a decent game, the Bucks still often struggle on offense. The best offensive team in the regular season is now scoring only 98.8 points per game against the Nets. They’ve been particularly bad from the deep, although they manage to create clean looks. On Tuesday, the Bucks shot a combined 13-32 for three. On defense, they were fantastic in both home games and will live with Durant’s scoring if they limit the other Nets. Still, it won’t be worth much if they can’t find their offense.

Donte DiVincenzo continues to be the only significant absentee for the Bucks.

Game 6 Brooklyn Nets vs Milwaukee Bucks Betting Odds, Lines Picks & Predictions

Betting Pick: UNDER 220.5

This series has been trending UNDER so far and we can expect more of the same on Thursday. Tuesday’s game was the only OVER in the series and it took a historic performance from one of the best players ever. We can hardly expect the same in Game 6 nor we can’t expect Jeff Green to drain seven threes.
