Why is Elliott the Favorite in Toyota Save Mart 350 Odds at Sonoma Raceway?

Since winning his first Cup Series race at Watkins Glen in 2018, Elliott has grown to be one of the best road course drivers on tour. Out of the last nine races he’s competed on a circuit, Elliott has won six times and was recently victorious at the Circuit of The Americas two weeks ago.

Elliott has not yet won a race at the Sonoma Raceway. His best finish there was fourth in 2018, before he became a winner of the Cup Series race.

Elliott has a victory in the Circuit of the Americas, but he is not doing well this season. However, he has been competitive with third-most top five finishes on the circuit and five straight top 10 finishes. He also had three consecutive podiums before this race.

NASCAR Predictions this week for the Toyota Save Mart 350

Hendrick Motorsports has been dominating the NASCAR season so far, with three straight victories. Starting 1-2-3 in tomorrow’s race will continue their streak.

This team will be hard to beat at Sonoma Raceway. Especially with the road course king, Elliott, on the squad. Here are my 3 NASCAR predictions for this week.

Chase Elliott is a favorite at 225: Chase has been successful on road courses and starts from the outside of row 1. That’s why I am a fan of Chase.

Martin Truex Jr. +500: It’s hard not to place a bet on Truex for Sonoma Raceway given that he has won the last two races at this track and has three wins over his 14 career starts overall. He was in the top three for this season’s NASCAR Cup. Now he is in 19th position, but he can still do well.

Joey Logano to win at Sonoma is 14:1. He has never won at Sonoma but he has done well on the road courses, with 2nd place and 3rd place finishes. I think this week he will do okay too because of how well he did on the other two road tracks.
