A major upset is brewing in the NLCS. As heavy underdogs before this series got underway, the Atlanta Braves have won the first two games. They are facing the Los Angeles Dodgers, who were favored to win the NL Pennant in Spring Training.
Both of these series could come to a rapid conclusion with games being played every day. In the ALCS, Houston erasing a three-game deficit with four wins in a row appears to be highly improbable. This is especially true against Tampa Bay as the best team in the AL.

Conventional wisdom would be to bet on Los Angeles to win this game. Yet, you could also make a case for betting the UNDER on 9 ½ runs. The total stayed UNDER in the first two games. It has also stayed UNDER in five of the Braves’ last six outings.
Moving to the bigger picture, Atlanta is now a -210 favorite to win the NL Pennant. It opened this series as a +180 underdog. You can now bet the Dodgers as +180 underdogs at SportsBetting.ag . They opened as -210 favorites ahead of Game 1.
Given the complete role reversal, a small wager on LA right now might make sense. This was the best team in the Majors all season long. A win on Wednesday would stop the bleeding. Another victory in Thursday’s Game 4 would make this a best-of-three affair. At that point, anything could happen.
