2013 American League Rookie of The Year
The Tampa Bay Rays played stellar baseball this season and made it much further than most of the other baseball teams. Their outfielder, Wil Meyers won the American League Rookie of the year award. Yahoo Sports reported the news on Monday. Besides Meyers winning The Jackie Robinson Rookie of the year award, he also won the rookie of the year award by sporting news, and The MLB Players choice award.
2013 National League Rookie of the Year
Jose Fernandez from The Miami Marlins was named the National League rookie of the year. We read about the news via twitter. Jose Fernandez had an outstanding year, one of the top seasons by all of the baseball players in the National League. Fernandez went for 12-6 with a 2.19 ERA during the regular MLB season. We would like to take the time to congratulate all of the players in the MLB, especially The 2013 Rookies of the year.
