Game 6 Los Angeles Clippers vs Dallas Mavericks Betting Odds, Props, Picks Predictions & Parlays

The Mavericks have a chance to win their first series in a decade when they host the Clippers on Friday. They’re now 3-2 up in the first round of the playoffs after winning in LA on Wednesday 105-100. It’s been a weird series with neither team able to win on the home court over the first 5 matchups. That hasn’t happened in 26 years. Dallas is on a good run at the moment, losing only 5 times in the last 15 games. Their overall SU record is now 45-32. Against the spread, they’re 38-39. The Clippers go to Dallas with their backs against the wall and struggling to find the right form. Right now, they’re 6-9 in the last 15 games. For the whole season, the Clips are 49-28 straight up and 41-35-1 against the spread. The Mavericks have the upper hand in 8 matchups this season, winning 5 times.

Line Movement

For the fifth straight game, the Mavs enter the game as underdogs. The line opened at +3 but has shrunk a bit to 2.5. The total has been stable at 216.5.

Notes on Los Angeles Clippers

After two surprising losses at home, the Clippers seemed to have figured Dallas out and made all the right adjustments. They won both f the following road games rather comfortably. Coach Lue changed starting lineup which was getting torched by Luka Doncic and went small with Batum instead of Zubac. This yielded results in two away games, and the Clips seemed on their way to the 2nd round. However, they made things tough for themselves by losing game 5 mainly due to their own mistakes. They had 12 turnovers to Dallas’ 8 and allowed the Mavs a game-deciding 25-5 run in the 3rd quarter. They still lack a player capable of creating looks for others as neither George nor Leonard are known for their playmaking abilities. Kahwi had his worst performance in the series, scoring only 20 points and on 36.8%. George, on the other hand, had a solid game what 23 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists. However, if the Clippers can hardly expect anything tonight if Leonard is a no-show.

The only injury worry for coach Lue is Ibaka who is game time decision.

Notes on Dallas Mavericks

Prior to this series, Dallas was expected to be nothing more than a bump on a Clippers’ road to Western Conference Finals. However, Luka Docic had a different idea. The Mavericks now find themselves a home win way from the 2nd round. Struggling with a neck strain, Luka had his worst performance in the series in game 4, scoring only 19 points. On Wednesday, he looked back to his best self, destroying the Clippers with 42 points, 14 assists, and 8 rebounds. We’ll see if he can keep it up tonight, as Mavs are completely dependent on their best player. In Game 5, only 6 of their makes were not scored or assisted by Doncic. Plus, other than Hardaway who scored 20, no other player was in the double digits. Coach Carlisle tried to surprise his counterpart by starting Boban Marjanovic and giving him decent minutes, but we’ll hardly see it tonight. Although he scored 9 and had 7 rebounds, the big man had the worst plus-minus stats of any Dallas player.

For Mavericks, Reddick is still out, while Kleber is questionable. Luka is again game time decision, but there’s no chance he misses out tonight.

Betting Pick: UNDER 216.5

Since their Game 3 adjustment, the Clippers haven’t allowed the Mavs more than 108 points in a game. On the other hand, the Clips have offensive issues of their own and will rely on defense to win this one. Six of the 8 meetings between the two teams this season went UNDER. Expect a tight and low-scoring game.
