Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather Boxing Betting Odds, Props, Picks Predictions & Parlays

On the Showtime Pay-Per-View boxing presentation taking place on Sunday night, which word will either of the main event fighters say first? – “Bitch,” “Money” or “McGregor”?

You are probably surprised by this. Have you heard that before?

Don’t say that BetOnline didn’t give you a lot of options to bet on.

Though perhaps an explanation would be appropriate.

If you look closely, you will see that people who love boxing always have a special way of remembering the great boxers. Even if they are from more recent times.

Boxing is not as popular as it used to be. Because of this, some people have found a way to make money by getting old boxers back into the ring. There is an opportunity for these people to make money because there are not many other boxers out there that people want to see.

At the same time, and for similar reasons, some who have come from outside of boxing have taken advantage of the platform that has been afforded them through social media. Let’s face it – if you have a large following, you have a built-in constituency of fans. And if you are athletically inclined, you can parlay that into a chance to monetize on a scale that is outside the reach of others.

The stage has been set for Sunday’s boxing action at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.Floyd Mayweather, 44 years old and undefeated in any professional fight of his career so far, will step into the ring with Logan Paul on June 6th for what is sure to be a match that can make history.

That is because over just one of his YouTube channels, Paul has 23.1 million followers and they want to be entertained. So after he had a couple of fights that were with people who work in offices, he is going to fight as a pro again.

Yes, we said the SECOND time. The first time he lost against a rapper and YouTuber KSI. But he has lots of followers, so Mayweather is always available for money-making propositions that are not too risky.

So this becomes a match made in social media heaven.

Mayweather comes from a boxing family. His father was a welterweight contender and his uncle won world championships as both a junior lightweight and junior welterweight. He won 84 of 93 amateur matches. Then in 1996 he got a bronze medal at the Olympics. The only time his hand was not raised was the last match, and that one was controversial because he lost to Serafim Todorov from Bulgaria.

Former undisputed world heavyweight champion Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. is a five-division boxing champion, who captured titles at 130lbs (junior featherweight), 135lbs (lightweight), 140lbs (junior welterweight), 147lbs (welterweight) and 154lbs.

He has defeated the likes of Diego Corrales, Jose Luis Castillo, Arturo Gatti, Zab Judah, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Juan Manuel Marquez, Shane Mosley and many more. His bouts have generated roughly $1.7 billion in pay-per-view revenue.

In contrast, Paul has had one professional boxing fight. This was in a 50-0 victory against an opponent with no prior pro fights.

Logan Paul, a former high school wrestler and college football player, left his studies at Ohio University to take his shot at internet fame. Ultimately he succeeded on the app Vine as well as other platforms such as YouTube.

He has been able to create as much attention for himself with his comments as Floyd Mayweather does when he says something controversial.

There’s always going to be a heated debate when Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather do a press conference.

That is what happened.

It was a lot of fun. We were talking a lot and we were talking about how Logan’s brother Jake, who has fought in three professional fights including two wins, said he would take Floyd’s hat right off his head.

And then he proceeded to make off with it, to the apparent displeasure of Mayweather.

“I wanted to acknowledge Floyd’s career path and everything he has accomplished,” Logan told CBS Sports.com. “I was trying to be respectful and then my brother took his hat and [Mayweather] said he was going to kill Jake and I don’t take that s**t lightly.

“It has become super personal. Just the way he is talking online and thinks he’s in control of this fight to the T. It will take 44 years of Floyd’s life for him to be humbled.”

But Logan proved once and for all that he’s more than just talk.

We can’t be sure what is in Mayweather’s head when he fights. We know that he has some physical advantages, but we don’t know if he cares about them.He is about five or six inches shorter, and it’s not even known how much weight he’ll give up. Logan is in the neighborhood of the cruiserweight class, so the difference could be really big.BetOnline has put up a bet about how much weight I will lose. They have put an over-under of 27.5 pounds on the difference. The “over” is priced at -200 but the “under” is priced at +150. So I will probably take the “over”.

When there is a difference in talent, do you think it matters? You might not.

And you may want to back up beyond that by asking whether this bout, which is officially an “exhibition,” will in fact resemble a real fight at all. This will happen because there is a huge difference in the talent and experience of the fighters.

There are many different ways for exhibitions to be staged. They can be disappointing if the two people just look at each other and do nothing instead of doing something cool.

Muhammad Ali fought many exhibitions. In most of them, nothing much happened; however, the people present were happy to get a glimpse of the legendary champion.

There were a few times when people were surprised. In 1979, Ali had an eight-round exhibition with Denver Broncos defensive lineman Lyle Alzado at Mile High Stadium. NBC bought the live TV rights too. He wasn’t in very good shape, but there was some fighting and exchanges that made it worth watching.

Three years ago, a mixed wrestling match between Ali and Antonio Inoki was seen by many people. Some of them paid to watch it on television. On these televisions, there were two million people in the United States who watched the wrestling match. These people mostly did not like it because they threw things into the ring after the match was

So which way will the Mayweather-Paul encounter go?

We want to give you some background before we get into the discussion about Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

On June 6, 2021, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Logan Paul will square off in an exhibition boxing match in Tokyo

The fight takes place Sunday, June 6.

The Hard Rock Stadium is in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Fanmio is an app for celebrities. It costs $49.95 and you get a t-shirt, too.

At Showtime PPV, you pay $49.95 for a show and get no T-shirt.

Twitter followers: Mayweather has 7.8 million, Paul has 6 million.

Where to Bet on It: BetOnline

I had assumed that nothing consequential would happen during this fight for people with my level of experience.

Apparently, I just didn’t know what to expect.

But you know what? I’m not sure that kind of thing is going to be possible here.

It is because of Mayweather’s vanity.

Mayweather will be able to hear the noise. He won’t put himself in a position where people are throwing things at him.

He won’t be too out of shape if he does this. He is too vain to look bad to the public, even though it doesn’t count. If he doesn’t do well, people will make fun of him. And they should because he is promoting this game and charging people money when it doesn’t matter how well they do.

And YES, his skill is better than the other guy’s size.

I think about the fight in Japan two and a half years ago, when he fought against a kickboxer. He was ranked #2 pound-for-pound in the world by a popular website called Combat Press.

Granted, Nasukawa gave up a lot of weight to Mayweather. But Floyd put him down three times and finished the fight in one round. He doesn’t look like someone who is playing around.

I could imagine that Mayweather might carry Paul for a while and make it look like it’s competitive.

And the truth is that he does not want to be reckless and risk getting hurt. If the bigger guy punches him, it will hurt a lot.

Paul is a lot younger than Mayweather and he doesn’t know how to pace himself. Paul will get weaker with every second that goes by.

At some point Mayweather will open up and he’ll have the opportunity to end it in the second half of the fight. The only question is when. Logan Paul hasn’t been hit by a professional fighter before, so maybe sooner.

So this leads us into a discussion on the different bets available at BetOnline for the upcoming fight between Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather.

To have hood over head during walkout?

Both -125

Logan Paul only +200

Floyd Mayweather only +250

Neither +350

I don’t know. The answer could be either “Both” or “One.” I think that Paul should wear the hood because it might be good for him.

Mayweather vs Paul – Knockdown

Mayweather not to be knocked down -1000

Mayweather to be knocked down +550

I think this is a good opportunity to invest in something. If Floyd goes down, it would be like they are adding an exciting turn to the show.

Paul to be knocked down -350

Paul not to be knocked down +225

I am not sure about this, but it is not unreasonable to think that if Mayweather wanted to, he could put Paul on the ground. And we discussed something else earlier, although there is always a chance that Paul has an iron chin, it is more likely that fighting against a world-class fighter will be a shock for him.

And then there’s that thing with which we teased you at the top.

What will either fighter say first?

Bitch -125

Money +125

McGregor +1000

The best bet, in my opinion, is on Floyd.
