When Josh Beckett of the Los Angeles Dodgers went out for his last start, you just knew that manager Don Mattingly was going to keep a very close eye on him. After all, Beckett have thrown a lot of pitches in his last start, 128 of them, to be exact, and Mattingly had kept him out there only because Beckett had a no-hitter.
