Game 4 Utah Jazz vs Los Angeles Clippers Betting Odds, Lines Picks & Predictions

The Clippers will look to build in their strong performance in Game 3 as they host the Jazz on Monday night. Coach Lue’s team made a statement on Saturday, dominating the game and winning 132-116. They will look for more of the same tonight, as they struggled to find some consistency lately. The Clips have won only 7 out of the last 15 games. Their overall SU record is now 52-30, while they’re 44-36-2 ATS. The Jazz, on the other hand, had their great postseason winning streak snapped. Saturday’s loss was their first one after 6 straight playoff wins. Over the season they’re 58-22. Their ATS record now stands at 46-32-2. The two teams have now met 6 times this year. Four games went Utah’s way, while LA won 2 times.

Line Movement

The Clippers enter the 4th game of the series as the home favorites. Despite Saturday’s blowout, the line remained the same as it was in Game 3, -4.5. The total for Game 4 is set at 223.5, although some bookies are offering 224. It’s worth noting that both of the last two games went well over this number.

Notes on Utah Jazz

Utah entered Game 3 looking like they might get the third consecutive win. They got off to an 8-0 start but from there, it was all downhill for them. They did get a nice production across their lineup. Five players scored in double-digits, while Mitchell was red-hot again, going for 30. However, it was their defense and carelessness with the ball that cost them the game. They committed 13 turnovers which directly led to 24 points for the Clips. On defense, the Jazz struggled to get any stops at all. Utah allowed the Clippers to shoot 56.2% from the field, and an incredible 52.8% for three. They were solid from the deep themselves with 43.2 but managed only 17-from40 inside the arc even though LA played a small-ball lineup most of the time. However, the jazz had no answer for their opponent’s zone defense.

Mike Conley missed the first three games and is likely to miss out again. He’s listed as questionable but according to the latest news from the Utah camp, he won’t be ready for tonight.

Notes on Los Angeles Clippers

In Game 3, the Clippers finally got monster performances for both of their stars. Kahwi Leonard did his thing throughout the playoffs, but Paul George has mostly struggled. On Saturday, Kahwi went off for 34 while George scored 31 points, including 6 triples. Reggie Jackson and Nic Batum followed the star duo with 17 points each. On Saturday, the Clippers were deadly from beyond the arc. They went 19-36 for three as a team, while only Batum, Jackson, and Goerge combined for 15-22 from the deep. Playing small ball put the pressure on Rusy Gobert who was often forced to chase guards around the perimeter. That opened the space for Leonard around the rim who scored more than half of his points inside. While these shooting percentages will be hard to maintain, it’s certainly encouraging ahead of Game 4.

Serge Ibaka, who’s out indefinitely, is the only absentee for the Clips.

Game 4 Utah Jazz vs Los Angeles Clippers Betting Odds, Lines Picks & Predictions

Betting Pick: UNDER 223.5

The last game went 15 points over this line. However, both teams had incredible shooting performances and we can expect some regression. The Clippers are primarily a defensive team and most of their games this year went under. Utah is struggling to create on offense without Conley and we can expect that to continue. They can’t rely on Mitchell heroic’s every night.
