MLB Baseball Lines: Oakland Athletics (-106) Detroit Tigers (-104) Total = 7.5

The Oakland A’s are coming off of a winning series against The Mariners. They were victorious in the first and the last game and will be looking to bring that winning momentum to the field tonight. Last year Detroit made it to the World Series but could not hold it together and will be fighting to make sure that does not happen against.

Detroit is set to start Max Scherzer tonight while The Oakland A’s will be starting Bartolo Colon. There has been a lot of talk about Jim Leyland decision to start Max Scherzer, many people do not agree with it. This season Max Scherzer has successful struck out two hundred forty players in less than two hundred fifteen innings and has a 2.90 ERA.

Bartolo Colon has played spectacular this year and The A’s believe in him to lead the team to its victory on the first game. Colon is going into the playoff with 18-6 record for this 2013 season with a 2.65 ERA. Colon struck out one hundred seventeen people this season. This should prove to be a very good, and exciting matchup.
