It is a four-team race in the NL Central with Milwaukee (62-51) holding a slim one-game lead over St. Louis. Pittsburgh is 2.5 games back and Cincinnati (57-56) is five games out of first. The Cardinals (60-51) have now won three straight, while the Pirates (59-53) have dropped their last two outings.
